The cottage story

Baked for markets, friends, and the long way around St. Pets.

Catherine started Doughs By Cat the way a lot of good bakeries begin: extra loaves for Saturday markets, paper bags passed over garden fences, and neighbors who started asking whether “Cat’s bread” would be ready by Thursday.

What began as weekend baking for friends is growing into a real local delivery bakery — still small-batch, still mixed in a cottage kitchen, still shaped by hand. The name is the wordplay everyone already used: doughs, by Cat.

There is no storefront. If you live in St. Petersburg, the loaves come to you. Con cariño, desde casa.

How ordering works

No shop door. Just a route through St. Pete.

    Choose your breads

    Add loaves and rolls from the board. Bake lists are small on purpose.

    Tell us where in St. Pets

    Neighborhood and zip so we can plan a local drop-off. Delivery only — no pickup counter.

    We bake to order

    Mixed and baked in a cottage kitchen the day before your window, then cooled and bagged.

    Bicycle-friendly delivery

    Local routes across St. Petersburg. When the bag fits the basket, that’s how it arrives.

Doughs By Cat is a Florida cottage food operation. Breads are homemade in a residence that is not inspected as a retail bakery. This demo form does not place a real order.
